Kawaii Shopping Master Post!
After living in Japan for some time most gaijin ultimately will find themselves shopping for garments in some of Japan’s informal stores like Uniqlo, Muji, or Righton. These shops are considerably similar to the Old Navy, The Gap, and Tully’s within the USA. One retailer which not too long ago has gained popularity in Japan, although it has been round for a long time, is Shimamura. My wife has been procuring there since the family she works for took her to at least one well before I first met her. It’s so low-cost that they are going to drive an hour throughout Osaka to go their favourite store.
